Apologies to Kermit: It IS Easy Being Green

St. Patrick’s Day churns up memories of five years ago, when a gaggle of opportunistic young people attached like leeches to student-led parties, took over a neighbourhood, rioted, and made the kind of international news for London that no city wants to attract. Cue The Who and Won’t Get Fooled Again! …

REVISED – Droning On

Somehow, in the midst of preparations for one of my favourite days of the year, I also forgot about it! Bell Let’s Talk Day dominates my work life on a Bell/CTV radio station, but I overlooked mentioning it here for some reason. As I was arranging interviews and input from Michael Landsberg, Bob Ezrin, Dr. Michael Goldbloom from CAMH and others for our radio show, I totally forgot to write a blog post about it. Throwback Thursday – Lights Alight

Ken and I were invited to join the official Lighting of the Lights at Victoria Park this year, as co-emcees with our colleague, CTV’s Nick Paparella. Nick has done it for so many years that we pretty much rode his coat tails through the program of live music and a couple of short speeches.
