Hello my little string tuggers! Welcome to another edition of your favourite scribbling feline’s missives. I’m feeling lazy today. That’s how I feel on every day that ends in y.
…Greetings my little nap-lovers! Did you miss me last week? I certainly missed the human bean known as Mother while she was away. Although Father is my obvious favourite, she is the second most important bean in my world. We’re not a complete family unless she is here, too. When she finally arrived home in the middle of the night, I ran toward her mewling as loud as I could, to show my happiness. It was a sweet reunion. So now we can get back to the business of blogging.

Hello my little toe stretchers! My human bean Mother is currently narrating an audiobook about training filthy dogs. Being the optimistic, inquisitive person she is, she has asked me to explain how to train a cat. “Go to the source” as her journalistic instincts continue to guide her. She doesn’t ask much of me, really. So, I decided to comply. What follows is my complete guide to training a cat.

Greetings my little ear twitchers! If you haven’t noticed, it’s Friday the 13th, a day of silly superstitions and mistaken myths. And some of them revolve around the most misunderstood of all felines – the black cat.

Today, my little insect trackers, I have happened upon some famous words from famous people, about cats. I have much to say about what has been said! So the sayers shall have their say, following which I will offer my commentary. Are we clear? Excellent. Let’s begin.

Today, my little bowl lickers, we’re going to attack a fallacy about our bodies with all the energy of a kitten tackling a dangling feather. I’ve heard the comments. I know you think I’m full-figured. And I suppose it’s true. But you need to know that part of my pleasing shape comes thanks to Mother Nature, not evenings spent gorging on Twinkies.

Hello my friends. Today’s title is what Mother called the indoor flooding that occurred after heavy rain last week! Both human beans took this unwelcome event in stride. What can you do? Me? I can hide beneath a table until it’s all over, that’s what I can do!

Life is a whirlwind, my friends. Down goes the food bowl, I clean it out and a new one magically appears. Same routine, different postal code. I’m one lucky feline.
…Hello my little dust bunny chasers! We continue to settle into our new digs in Port Stanley. And by “we” I obviously mean that my contribution is staying out of the way. Napping in various locales. You know, same old same old.
…Greetings from Port Stanley, my little diggers! I’m officially a beach cat now. Also, I’m a bit overwhelmed after all of the excitement. Oh, I have tales (and tails) to tell.
…Greetings my little kibble crunchers! It feels like Deja vu all over again. Same stuff. Different boxes.

Officially, we won’t be country bumpkins in three days. The big move-out is on Friday. Some straggling stuff will still need to be hoofed over to Port Stanley. But for all intents and purposes, on Friday we’re out.

This week finds me quite disappointed, my little treat chompers, As Packarama 2021 continues, not one box has been left out for my amusement. Every box is built, filled, labelled and set aside. What’s a curious cat to do?

Greetings my little lucky charms! We are about six weeks away from no longer being country bumpkins. Port Stanley isn’t exactly the city, but it’s got a lot less corn and a lot more people. Today I want to share with you Mother’s philosophy: If something is too difficult, it’s not meant to be. As the moth-catcher of this family, I’ll have to agree. It’s much easier to wait for the moth to come to me, than to try to go to the moth.
