…others, not have way!” ~Steve Martin
There are times when the word well runs dry. Actually, it’s the idea well that runs dry. The idea comes first. It has to resonate and be worth expanding on. Otherwise, it’s tossed into the idea dumpster which is often close to full.
This week, the idea well hasn’t been forthcoming. It’s not a block. It might be a matter of too much else going on. Having too many BIG things that cause an overwhelming feeling that prevent me from seeing the smaller picture.
Or I might just be all blogged out for the moment.
So, please forgive me for making you click through to this jumble of nothing! And if your idea well is fruitful, kindly share a spoonful or two. I love to research things and investigate things and learn things.
Until then, I will catch you next week.
Meanwhile: You put the tariffs in, you take the tariffs out, you do the orange pokey and you shake it all about. I think I need more sleep.
This is a selfie I took just before I wrote this missive.

Thank you and goodnight!
Ideas, inspiration and creativity can from time to time retreat when the noise around us becomes overwhelming as a protective survival instinct to allow us time to understand what we may be feeling.
Until next week.
I appreciate your understanding, Allan.
You are not alone! We are living in the midst of 24/7 Topsy turvy, unbelievable and troubling times. Take a break and get away from it in whatever ways work for you. Have a gentle weekend! xxoo
Thank you, Sandra. You too.
Lisa Canada has a new leader and I’m
hoping Trump doesn’t find a way to make your land a 51st state. He would probably want to change the name to Amari-Can. Have a great weekend. I’m going to ‘flea!’
Thank you, Bill. Happy flea-ing!
Enjoy your break Lisa. It’s so important to look after ourselves during the noise. Finding ways you can shut it out and enjoy the little things. I do hope you are able to do that too. ❤️
Thank yoiu, Carolyn.
Pepe the King Prawn rules!!!
I wonder if your lack of words had to do with last week being the first week of Daylight Saving time?
What do you do to replenish your idea well when it goes try?
Dan, this is the first time I haven’t felt a THING from a time change. Nothing! Not a moment of – it’s WHAT TIME?! – nada. I think the issue is that all of my words have been going into my fiction and I had no more words to give!
