This week, Throwback Thursday makes way for a Thankful Thursday. I’m thankful to Scott Taylor. Scott was the Editor of Our London and he’s still a regular panelist on the CJBK morning show. He hired me as a columnist a few months before Our London was shuttered.
The magazine team at LHSC (London Health Sciences Centre) contacted me after reading my piece on World Sepsis Day, September 13. That project is now public and I’m excited about continuing to spread the word on the risks and symptoms of sepsis. The article is HERE and the video below.
I’m thankful to the wonderful LHSC team of writer Barbel Hatje, photographer Dave Chidley and videographer Cassie Dowse. And I’m thankful to Scott Taylor for giving me the forum that publicized my story in a way that came to LHSC’s attention. He’s one of the good ones.
Great video! So glad you are able to get your story out to so many people. It is an important story to tell. And so happy you pulled through it all.
This is amazing. Thank you for using your life-and-death experience to help perhaps spare people the same fate – or worse. Your words are touching, honest and hopefully will get through to everyone who needs to hear them!
