This is the best and clearest explanation I’ve seen for the millions of people who, inexplicably, support Donald Trump in an election that’s now just a few days away.
If you’ve asked yourself how they can think he’s the answer and why they can’t seem to see his faults and flaws, this is the column for you, from writer and broadcaster Michael Goldfarb. Click HERE.
An acquaintance from the US posted this yesterday:
“I am deeply afraid someone will win this election.”
Well said. I am too!
globalization and free trade has displaced and disenfranchised many because we never considered or developed a strategy for the realignment and transition of the work force. When you couple this with societies belief that it’s governments role to create jobs and they don’t occur, frustration turns into anger and hate and with hatred you eventually end up wearing blinders unable to see a way out.
Agreed Allan. And when you couple all that with what the Democrats are offering this time round, the electorate can only choose between the ignorant and the corrupt. Hardly a ringing endorsement of democracy in action. As my friend alluded, it’s a shame that somebody has to win.
