Today I take aim at those guys for whom putting on a baseball cap is as routine as pulling on underwear.
I didn’t even realize that as I submitted this script for team approval, Blair was wearing a baseball cap. But he gets a pass because of the early wake-up! I have seen him capless many, many times so he’s not a serial offender.

Lisa, I thought you were going to rant about my peeve. Men/boys wearing hats in restaurants—GRRR.
Well it’s certainly part of it! I have to keep it down under 60 seconds… so the hats in general bug me! haha. With some guys it’s just an excuse to have bad hair, I think.
guilty as charged. However I do have a practical reason for adorning this particular fashion statement along with the corresponding sun glasses at all times of the day or night. I live in a well established neighborhood with a large amount of unkept foliage which all to often protrudes over the sidewalks around head height. The adorning of a ball cap and sun glasses not only protects me from the negative effects of the sun, but from being hit in the head, face or eye by low hanging branches, thus it’s a safety precaution. And safety trumps fashion 100% of the time and that of the female views or opinions on the state of fashion. A group who have never come to terms with their fashion neuroses, and likely never will.
Your reasoning is sound, Allan. And I’m assuming it comes off in restaurants because I know you have manners. You are exempt from any and all criticism in this regard.
The ball cap, comes off and is hung where possible on the back of the chair or is folded and placed in a back pocket. Sun glasses are either placed in a shirt pocket or tucked into my shirt if no pocket available. I’ve got this routine down pat.
