So not everybody has an ereader. This I knew. However I did not know how many people without ereaders would be interested in reading my little book. Quite a few it seems.
Here is what I’m working on. When the ebook is ready there will be a little notification on the front of this site that will allow you to purchase the stories in a PDF version which I will email to you. If you want to print it off, that’s up to you, or you can just read it on your computer screen. The introductory price will still be $2.99.
On second thought, when I have the finished artwork for the cover I might put the PDF together earlier than the ebook. I’ll let you know! This is all uncharted territory for me and for much of book world. Fortunately, I have a team of specialists and interns working tirelessly to put all of this together. Ha! But seriously, I’m grateful for the interest everyone has shown in The Naked Truth.
Hi Lisa–or they can read from an I Pad–and probably other devices, reason I say I Pad is–I’M RETIRING TODAY–present to myself is going to be an I Pad–can’t wait!
Yes, I need to borrow a Mac from a friend in order to create an iPad-friendly version but I will do so. Congrats on the present to yourself!
Lisa Amazon has a free download for a PC version of Kindle. You can download an ebook to your computer and read it on your own monitor.
Thank you Gloria! I haven’t done all of my research yet. Obviously!
Unfortunately, not all technology such as E-readers and smart phones are accessible to all, most notably persons with a disability even if the reader is a free download. In fact, PDF’s have been notoriously inaccessible to those requiring adaptive technology in order to access and use their computers, but accessible PDF’s are possible with a little care and insight. E-books can also be made fully accessible with an ever increasing number being made available for download from the various sites.
I’m so excited for this! I’m also relieved it’s not a pop up book. 😉
