Finally, we got aboard the Port Stanley Terminal Rail and took a two-hour train ride to see the fall colours.
…Hummingbirds were slow to discover our feeder but once they did, they must have gone onto Hummingbird Trip Advisor and given us 5 stars.
…I spent last weekend in Toronto attending the VO North conference; a gathering of voice-over pros and those who want to be.
…Before Covid, kids, there were things called facials! They felt great and they left your skin feeling nourished and pampered.
…As you tour the village, you’ll notice that brightly painted post people stand here and there. The following photos are used with permission from Magical Port Stanley, which is loaded with gorgeous pics from around the village.
…Yes, this is the unofficial end of summer. Kids back in school. Summer-only activities rolled up like so many yoga mats. But as a woman who puts her faith in science, I’m sticking to September 22 as the last day of summer. That’s still several days from now. (I’m not a woman of math!)

…Music is in the air. We are almost ready for summer. My husband and our neighbour Bill recently built our backyard fences. Our pergola is partway up, soon to be completed. It won’t be long before we’re spending warm evenings outside enjoying the ambience. Is it just me or are winters getting longer?
