This was my on-air take on the whole Canada’s London campaign after a city committee approved the rebranding campaign. It still needs full council approval but Canada’s London is likely going to be spread all over the city. Ugh.

Although I’m by no means a marketing specialist, the slogan “Canada’s London” comes across to me as an idea from someone with a small town mentality and a great deal of insecurity. If the weather outside doesn’t give you a hint that your no longer in London England, , maybe a snowball up the side of the head will assist you in clueing in. In short, the attempt at branding is lame.
