Potato-Potato Gets a Friend

Our motorcycle-riding tiger, Potato-Potato, made his third appearance at the Hyde Park Santa Claus Parade on Saturday.  It was windy and crisp with a fresh dusting of snow on the ground and the turnout was bigger than ever.

This year, because we are launching The London Bicycle Show alongside The World of Motorcyles Expo, we gussied up a bike too and put a little stuffed bear on it.  We named him Peeler.

Potato-Potato was named for the sound a Harley exhaust makes.  Peeler goes with a potato, of course.  Kids LOVE the tiger.  He gets us noticed, for sure.

A bunch of red bows on the truck, some garland and lights on the dash and out back and away we go!  My cheeks actually ached for the rest of the day from all of the smiling.  My task over the next year is to find a big stuffed friend for Potato-Potato and put Peeler back in the guest bedroom. Maybe there’s a lion out there that likes to ride? Merry (less than a month until) Christmas!
