I’ve wanted to take a photo of this mailbox since I moved to London nearly 4 years ago. Not only is it an original, it’s also a lesson in recycling and customization!
This mailbox sits at the end of a driveway on a short road just off the main road maybe 5 minutes away from where we live. There are perhaps six houses there and it’s a sweet little location. One of the homes recently went up for sale and because it’s a designated heritage site, they are apparently allowed to sell it for the same price as your average castle. But I digress.
I wouldn’t put this mailbox out front of my house but I can still appreciate its originality!
Jeez – hope no one was collecting the mail when that bike hit it! VERY cute.
