The World of Motorcycles Expo is on this weekend at the Western Fair Agriplex. If you don’t ride a motorcycle you may think, so, what’s this got to do with me?
Well it’s all about fun. Do you wear leather? There are a bunch of very competitive leather venders there. Some of the customized bikes competing for prizes are more blinged out than those on TV’s American Chopper. The kids can climb a rock wall (with a small donation to charity) and if they’re little ‘uns they get in free. There are auctions and goodies and raffles and prize draws and door prizes that include a big screen TV.
1039FM and Rocky’s Harley Davidson are giving away a brand new H.D. Rocker on Sunday! 50 key winners will try their keys until one of them starts that beautiful bike up.
I’m in my second year as a licensed rider. This is a flashback photo to Eze, France, 2 years ago, when I was a passenger during a motorcycle trip through the mountains and on to Monte Carlo. I later learned that each of the members of U2 has a sprawling vacation estate at Eze. If only I had known I could have dropped by Bono’s place for tea!
